Main Tasks
- Support of our customers in the USA/ Canada /Mexico
- First / Second Level Support
- Repair and service for our machine tools
- Carrying out machine inspections
- Systematic troubleshooting, testing and measuring of functions as well as operational safety (mechanical / hydraulic and pneumatic)
- Mechanical modification of machines
- Modifications of NC programs for process optimization
- Run-in / optimization of machining processes or sub-processes
- Support / execution of preliminary and final acceptance tests
- Independent execution of commissioning / re-commissioning and partial commissioning of our machines and systems in the mechanical area
- Instruction / training of customers
Technical / personal requirements
- Degree as industrial mechanic or mechatronics technician or comparable training
- Several years of professional experience in the service of machine tools
- additional knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Experience with machine control Siemens 840 Dpl/sl welcome
- CNC programming knowledge welcome
- Independent working style and ability to work in a team
- High willingness to travel (USA/Canada/Mexico)
- MS-Office knowledge
- Languages spoken: English, Spanish and German knowledge beneficial
- Car driving license
